The national imperial park “summer palace” in Beijing

This is one the most popular and visited after the Great Wall of China and Forbidden City. You can find here very cool in the summer time and very fun and entertaining place somewhat like that. It was first time initiated to build a summer palace kind of imperial garden for living king and its imperial relatives in it.


its major parts and complete construction was done in the 1750 giving its name “Garden of ripples”. Misfortunately it had faced many foreign force invasions and got severely damaged in 1860 by Anglo-French forces and 1900 eight allied forces. Its restoration works had been started in the 1886 in Qing dynasty by using the public money and forces as labor and in the 1900 due to second time attacks. You can find lots number of things to do in the garden of ripples and 2/3 area of it is water, numerous temples, pavilions and ponds, garden lawns and much things to do.

Some of important fact about the summer palace:
• It was first built in the 12th century as an imperial palace for the king.
• The summer palace in northwest suburban Beijing is the largest and most complete imperial garden existing in China.
• Two thirds of the area of the Summer Palace is water. If the waters of the Kunming, West and Back lakes were still, it was seen as a sign that the nation was stable.
• The summer palace is known as the mother of all imperial retreats, Garden of Clear Ripples and in Chinese it is called Qingyi Garden.
• The summer palace is divided in to 3 groups the administrative area, residential area and scenic area.
• The Sea of Wisdom temple is covered with 1,100 terracotta Buddhas.
• In 1860 and 1900 it was destroyed by European troops.
• It is said to be the best preserved imperial garden in the world.
• CURRENT RESTORATION projects are due for completion in 2010.
The summer palace has declared by World heritage of world by the NESCO in 1990 and often is quoted as Garden of gardens. You must visit and realize all about by yourself.

Jiaozhou Bay Bridge-The world longest over Water Bridge in china

Jiaozhou Bay Bridge: This is newly built and completed in early of 2011 and opened for traffic on 30 june of 2011 with grand ceremony and celebration in the china.It has been rewarded and got registered in the guinease book of world record of the longest over water bridge,in the world. it is T shaped over water bridges and there are three entry side and three exit side for the bridge traffic.




It is connected the three Cities of china Huangdao distirct-Hongdao-Qingdao and it has in the middle of bridge meeting points where bridges traffic exchanged their route. It has taken only 4 years to be built and costing more than 10 billion Yuan (US$1.5 billion).

3. Temple of Heaven: The temple of heaven is very popular place for worship and ancient time historical grand structural designed building every constructed. Its area is three time greater than Forbidden City of china. In the 14th centuries its construction was started and from that time to 19th centuries many time renovations have taken place to maintain its building original design and shape.
